Pictionary

For those who know, the mere sight of that board should incite many emotions within you. Very solid candidate for best board game. Definitely in my top 5 ever. I like it because you don't necessarily have to be a great drawer (which I am not) to rule at this game. In fact being a really good drawer often gets you into trouble. You spend time drawing a great water buffalo that looks exactly like one would look and next thing you know, I'm over there with an an ocean and some scribbled ass chicken-wing kicking your ass. Don't get me wrong if you can draw well you're definitely golden but don't get too fancy there hotshot. You can always tell a savvy vet in this game because they bust out the sounds like. Sounds like is my shit, I will rhyme any word with any word. Another awesome thing about this game is how it's sometimes impossible to draw something. Quick, draw apathy. Yeah, good luck champ. This game is awesome.

Mindfuck

I cannot express how much this fucks with me. Subway and Scrabble. First off, as many of you know I absolutely love Scrabble, definitely in my top 3 boardgames. Secondly, I fucking hate the shit out of Subway. I hate everything about Subway to be quite honest. Jared, their weak-sauce bread, their gross disgusting meats, fuck Subway. I don't think I've set foot in a Subway in at least five years. So what do they do? They take something I love, absorb it, and create some type of devil contest. Now, I'm not a huge McDonalds fan by any stretch of the imagination but whenever they run that Monopoly promotion you best believe I'm in there getting some gross McDonalds food. So I mean, I don't really know what to do. I can continue on like this never even happened or I can just bite the bullet and go to fucking Subway.

P.S. I mean one in two wins. Those are pretty awesome odds. I believe that's roughly a 50% chance of winning.

Boardgame of the Day: Cranium

I think we can all agree that boardgames are pretty much the best. Some of my fondest memories in life revolve around crushing people mercilessly in various board games. Cranium has provided some of the more "intense" moments in my board game playing career. One time I stormed out of my friends house (with the game) because they wouldn't accept my answer of "Annie". They said the correct answer was "Little Orphan Annie". You know what? Fuck you! To this day I still maintain that "Annie" should have counted. Anyways, this game is awesome and if you don't know now you know.
